Translator, a technical, demanding job, at the crossroads of cultures.
Who am I?
My career path may seem atypical. I started out in sales, then moved on to consulting, and finally to translation. All of this interspersed with a personal project that has been, to say the least, structuring! These twists and turns, each one more enriching than the others, today allow me to provide you with a complete profile, concrete knowledge and multiple skills.
- After 4 years of studies between London and Marseilles and a BBA in European Management, I started my career in 1999, in Paris, in large groups of retail and IT.
- In 2003, I completed my career profile, until then very much very sales-oriented, with a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management. I then became an IT consultant in other international companies.
- 2014 was a watershed in my personal and professional life: I quited my job, sold my belongings and went traveling around the world!
- When coming back, at the beginning of 2018, I reoriented myself towards translation, my dream job. I got a Master’s degree in English-French Technical Translation and have since then been working in a sector that thrills me.
My two catchwords: authenticity and dynamism. Very sensitive to cultural diversity, I speak fluent English, practice Spanish and learn Japanese in my spare time. French by birth, I provide language services in both English and French.
What can we achieve together?
Accelerate your development on a new market and facilitate your interactions with your local users.
How?
By respecting two key elements: your jargon and your target audience.
Two areas of expertise.
The profile of a professional translator is a complex mix of cultural and technical knowledge.
Having first-hand experience in an industry is one of the key elements to ensure appropriate, quality content. My experience today allows me to provide you with:
- an expertise in new technologies.
- concrete, practical knowledge in the tourism and travel sector.
Customers from a variety of backgrounds.
Curious by nature, I maintain, in parallel with these two specialties, a more generalist profile. Although my core business is IT, clients from very different sectors have put their trust in me: carpentry, oil, equestrianism, environmental sciences and sustainable development or sexuality, to name just a few.
A range of bespoke services for all your needs.
Together, let’s break down language barriers.
Whatever your project and the type of service to be provided, I make it a point of honor to offer you a service that meets your expectations. Work with a communication professional who speaks both your technical language and your customers’!
